Limited Two Year Warranty

For a period of 24 months from the date the work described on the front of this [your] invoice is completed, Sean’s Painting named on the front of this [your] proposal will repair any newly applied paint which may peel or blister as a result of a defect in workmanship free of any labor charge.

Warranty Limitations

1. The cost of paint required to perform the repairs are not covered by this warranty.
2. Any work where Sean’s Painting did not supply the paint or other materials is not covered by this warranty.
3. Any work not performed by Sean’s Painting is not covered by this warranty.
4. Repairs will only be performed to the level of surface preparation described in the Preparation section of this proposal.
5. Exterior Varnished & clear finishes or surfaces made of, or containing, galvanized metal are not covered by this warranty.
6. Horizontal surfaces or any surface that, by virtue of its design permits moisture to collect. Such surfaces include but are not limited to decks, railings, stairs, porches, roofs and wood gutters.
7. Repairs will be performed only on the specific areas where peeling and/or blistering has occurred, Exact color match is not warranted as there is the likelihood that the original paint will have faded by the time repairs are performed.
8. Peeling or blistering which results from a defect in the paint applied is not covered by this warranty regardless of whether supplied by Sean’s Painting or the customer. For details on warranties applicable to the paint, please consult the label on paint manufacturer's paint can.

Customer's Responsibilities

For this warranty to be effective, you must:

1. Pay the full contract price.
2. Retain a copy of the original contract.
3. Retain a copy of your cancelled check or other evidence of payment in full.
4. Pay for all materials used to perform the repairs.
5. Make the property reasonably accessible to Sean’s Painting.

This limited warranty is the only express warranty made Sean’s Painting and is in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied. This warranty is applicable only to painting services provided to the original purchaser who is identified on the front cover of this contract, Sean’s Painting shall not be liable for materials, workmanship or breach of this warranty, nor shall Sean’s Painting be liable for any incidental or consequential damages or damages in excess of the original contract price. At no time may this warranty be altered or extended for any purpose.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you, Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.
